ZAGO was one of the smallest companies to attend this year’s Women in Manufacturing Summit, but that did not diminish its impact. ZAGO’s Vice President, Gail Friedberg and Vice President of Operations Jackie Luciano mingled with women from some of the largest manufacturers in the U.S. such as ITT, Praxair and GE Appliances. The companies came together to discuss this year’s Summit themes: Support. Promote. Inspire.
ZAGO Manufacturing Company recently went live with Shoptech ERP system in order to meet growing need among distributors and OEMs for its self-sealing fastener and sealing switch boot products. Having this system will allow ZAGO to be even more responsive to the needs of our distributors, large and small, vying for business in a ever more competitive international markets.
Recently, Flanders, the northern region of Belgium launched a “smart” water management system based on networked, interconnected sensors. The sensors provide insight into its regions water use, water quality and available water quantity. This is just one of the many ways that intelligent sensors are improving our use of both natural and mechanical resources. But sensors are sensitive! They contain microcontrollers and electronics that can be easily damaged by the infiltration of water, dust and other contaminants.

With that in mind, this year we once again supported Elizabeth NJ High School’s Frank J. Cicarell Academy on their trip to the global finals of Destination Imagination where they faced off against high school students from around the country and around the world! We are so proud of their technical team, Pundemic for placing 6th in the world in their main challenge!
ZAGO is excited to announce that this spring we will be out to not one, not two, but three trade shows! All the shows have a different focus, but what they have in common is that we will be there to see our current customers and introduce ourselves to new folks as well!
ZAGO seal nuts offer superior flexibility and versatility in comparison with the plastic insert lock nuts currently on the market. Plastic insert lock nuts offer only one type of sealing element known as Polyamide, or Nylon 11. Nylon 11 is a semi-crystalline plastic material with no flexibility. In contrast, ZAGO sealing nuts are offered with a variety of flexible rubber choices including Silicone, Buna, Viton, Fluorosilicone and EPDM. This wide range of o-rings makes ZAGO’s nuts suitable for a nearly unlimited range of uses.
On Saturday December 2, 2017 ZaGO’s employees and their families turned out on a breezy chilly morning for the 3rd Annual “Run Santa Run” 5k Fun Run and Walk, to raise money for the American Cancer Fund to support and benefit many fighting the disease of cancer raising over $6,500 dollars. Held at beautiful Brookdale Park in Montclair, New Jersey, ZaGO was delighted to participate with both a monetary donation and “sneakers on the ground”. ZaGO looks forward to doing more charitable events in 2018 and wishes everyone Happy Holidays and a peaceful New Year.
