ZAGO Associates Merlyn Jimenez and Sekou Toure Earn Promotions, Apprenticeship Certificates - U.S. DOL Machine One Journeyperson

ZAGO's Merlyn Jimenez and Sekou Toure earned their 13 Credit Academic Certificates in Precision Machining Technology after completing 2,000 hours of on-the-job training and online academic Related Technical Training (RTI) from Camden County College. The 13 credits can be applied to an Associate degree in Applied Science in Computer Integrated Manufacturing Engineering Technology. The New Jersey Community College Consortium sponsored the program.

“Merlyn and Sekou worked hard studying and learning on the factory floor to achieve their certificates,” says Gail Friedberg Rottenstrich, Co-Founder & CEO, ZAGO Manufacturing Co. “Sekou was recently promoted to CNC programmer from machine operator, and Merlyn was promoted to receiving and inventory coordinator from parts checker.
